STANDARD softline (rounded) drywall corners on
ALL walls --- comes with special conversion corners at base to provide
less damage to your baseboards through normal wear and tear. ü
STANDARD pine casings and baseboards
throughout -- No MDF! ü
STANDARD higher 3 1/2" baseboards
throughout entire home. ü
STANDARD Engineered open web steel joist floor
system that allows heating ducts and plumbing lines to be run through
the joists rather than underneath thus allowing more headroom in
basements. ü
STANDARD thicker 21/32" OSB flooring
GLUED & SCREWED to eliminate squeaky floors and to provide better
sound insulation. ü
STANDARD All floor, roof and wall materials
are glued AND screwed, nailed or stapled to add that little extra bit of
structural strength and rigidity to your home, because every little bit
makes an enormous difference in the end product. (Even the drywall is
glued and screwed !!!) ü
STANDARD Top-quality brand name interior and
exterior brass door passage sets. ü
STANDARD cabinet drawers built with steel
sides rather than wood for the best and greatest possible strength,
durability and longevity in cabinet construction. ü
STANDARD built-in vacuum system rough-in with
two outlets. ü
STANDARD high quality engineered low-flush
water-saver toilets. ü
STANDARD Christmas light soffit plug built
into your eave overhang and switched from inside your home. ü
STANDARD colonist-style raised panel interior
doors with a “Classique” profile. ü
STANDARD interior doors which are custom fit
to your opening and equipped with three (not two) radius brass hinges
for a nicer finish --- rather then pre-hung doors with only two square

texture throughout (normally found in only luxury homes). ü

STANDARD opening windows are ALL either
casement or awning types with single or dual cam locks to provide both
excellent security and a weather tight seal. They allow the least amount
of air infiltration possible. Celtic Homes does not use the less
effective slider-type windows unless specifically requested by our
client. ü
STANDARD windows on all elevations are
dual-paned, double-glazed, argon-filled, LOW E, low maintenance PVC
windows with dual fin seal weather-stripping to provide excellent
insulating values and energy efficiency throughout both summer and
winter months. ü
STANDARD exterior R-15 rated insulated steel
entrance doors rather than traditional R-4 rated insulated steel doors. ü
STANDARD sprayed-in polyurethane foam
insulation with a minimum R-Value of R-25 in all main floor exterior
walls (Upgradeable to over R-35) for increased energy efficiency, sound
insulation and structural strength. ü
Transportation
and home set-up using the roll-on method is included within 100 miles of
our Edmonton plant. ü
All
architectural design and drafting services (including basement design)
are included as we are a completely custom builder!
